There are wind chimes hanging from the spiral staircase I ascend to enter my studio in the tower behind the work room where the visuals artists draw, paint and make prints. As I climb the steps, the chimes dingle quietly and when the wind blows they jangle loudly. I turned on the recorded and struck each chime individually to slice into a fast percussive piece. The chimes are gradually detuned and are met with melodic responses from the Bolsa Bass and Organelle.
